GREATER ORANJESTAD. What started as an un-air-conditioned warehouse store in 1981 is now a major player on Aruba's retail scene, anchored by the Certified supermarket. The mall has about 50 other shops, restaurants and bars offering everything from shoes and clothing to furniture and housewares to toys and books. There's also a dry cleaner, photo developer and a video arcade.

ORANJESTAD. This mall features many posh shops and cafes. Look for reasonably priced table linens and leather goods as well as designer clothes, high-end electronics and cameras, and Dutch Delft (traditional blue pottery) and cheeses. Locally made handicrafts and authentic Cuban cigars are also available.

ORANJESTAD. This attractive collection of shops offers a little bit of everything. Buy stamps for your letters home at the post office branch or send an email from the Internet café. Many name designers have shops here including Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica and Benetton. This mall is conveniently located across from the cruise ship terminal.

GREATER ORANJESTAD. The Seaport Mall and Marketplace is really two impressive shopping complexes rolled into one. A location adjacent to the Crystal Casino means that shoppers and gamblers will be satisfied with one stop. The mall has over 120 shops selling merchandise ranging from designer clothes to European leather goods to exotic French perfume. Be sure to pause for a cup of coffee while you savor the view of the harbor.
